It was another remarkable edition of musical festival (MYFI) for youths conference organised by the senator representing Lagos Central District, Mrs.  Oluremi Tinubu, held on Tuesday 17th December 2019  at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island as this year’s theme tagged “Sacrifice of Praise”.

This year’s edition had in attendance thousands of youths which features prayers, praise of songs, dances and worship of praise with the words of God.

Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu senator representing Lagos Central District said in her welcome addressed that Musical Festival for Youths (MYFI) had, since Nine (9) years ago served as a platform for the youths, to pull their resources and talents together in order to help set the pace and chart a way forward for other youths in the country.

According to the convener, the Ninth edition of MYFI was borne out of our concern for the state of our nation, stating that all hands must be on deck. “We all, including the youths, have a role to play,”

Over the years, Lagos State government had invested massively in the education sector to boost the economy; this is because the government knows the potential and importance of education of our children. Education still remains the passport for tomorrow to those who prepare for it today. But even in the midst of learning, there should also be avenues to showcase talents, like what we’re doing today Tinubu said.

In attendance were Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,  his deputy Obafemi Hamzat, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and Oluremi Hamzat and other dignitaries well attended.
