NO SOCIETY WINS GUERRILLA WARFARE EASILY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD
“No country can easily and completely secure her citizens under a guerrilla warfare situation, no matter how good the security system of that country can be.
America, Europe, Asia and no part of African society has been able to win it yet.
This is the war Nigeria has also been fighting over the many years.
The attackers would have attacked and wrecked the havoc even before anybody would think about it or know.
This is what Boko Haram; kidnappings; gun men; ritual killings and heardsmen et cetera are all about.
Nobody can always know who, when, where and how the guerrilla attackers want to strike.
That is what makes it difficult and that is why to win guerrilla warfare is always very difficult to achieve.
It is not like the conventional warfare, when the country knows who is fighting the people.
In guerrilla warfare, it is always about faceless people or people behind the mask, darkness or mission to perpetrate the evil.
Or how do you know, who is a Boko Haram, gunman or armed robber person, planning to carry out the next attack in the street?!
No matter how good the president; Inspector General of Police and Chief of Army Staff may appear to be, once it is guerrilla warfare he is fighting, it would always be very difficult to win.
That is why the Boko Haram, Alqueda, Alshabab, ISIS et cetra and social banditry wars have been raging on in many parts of the world today, and no country has been able to win it.
And, if it must be won at all, then the government must be able to identify the perpetrators, destroy all of them or be in consultations with their demands and meet them, a solution which is always difficult to achieve anywhere or the guerrilla fighters themselves decide to stop fighting and perpetrating the devilish acts.
That is the only solution or else, it will continue to be an endless war every society will continue to battle with.
This is the reason it has been difficult for any president in Nigeria to achieve since the Boko Haram and banditry war have been raging on for many years in Nigeria”
