The National Secretariat of The Consolidation Group,(T.C.G) in Festac Town Lagos State was filled to capacity on Monday 29th March 2021 as members converged not just for a strategy session but to also celebrate the birthday of a well bred accountant, political Juggernaut, astute politician and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Nigeria Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Welcoming the mammoth crowd to the special meeting was the immediate past council chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA and founder of the group who thanked God for a special meeting day as such.
He resounded the importance of the colloquium which was organized in Asiwaju’s honour as not only mere celebration but an avenue to remind Nigerians of the importance to remain in unity.
Comrade Ayodele who described the Jagaban of Borgu as a builder of men, and unifying factor within the country with no bias for tribe or cultural affiliation attributed the success he made so far in politics to the man whom he calls his father.
In his words: Its a glorious birthday celebration for our leader and mentor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he clocks 69 today. I am not just a beneficiary of his benevolence over men in this country Nigeria, I am also a student of his political school of thought. I remain indebted to him for allowing GOD to use him to making me who I am today and I wish him many more of this celebration in sound health. All accolades he has gotten so far is based on GOD grace and favour to him, merit and his drive to continually see people excel. I also pray that while he is being compelled to become the president of Nigeria following his love for the country, that GOD Almighty makes it a reality come 2023, Comrade Ayodele opined.
Recall that, Comrade Ayodele Adewale, as the National Patron of Tinubu Media Team, (T.M.T) mobilized over Five Thousand (5,000) members to the Kano State Government House, Venue of Asiwaju’s birthday colloquium joining other loyalists of the Jagaban all over the World.
He also appreciated the kind gesture of the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency, Mr Umar Ganduje for accepting to host this years’ 12th annual colloquium in the commercial nerve center of Northern Nigeria.
While Comrade Ayodele Adewale appreciated the efforts of the T.C.G members thus far regarding member mobilization and revalidation, he specifically commended the people of Wards C and K for their numbers and dedication to the exercise.
Furthermore, the former Council boss disclosed the authenticity of the scheduled LGA elections in June 2021 and encouraged all those interested for political offices through the group to officially indicate their interest.
In order to create a seamless approach to the workflow process, the following appointments were made to re-position the organisation: Comrade Kehinde Adeoye-Secretary, Mr Sunday Paul-Ass.Secretary, Mr Ejiro Tony-Organizing Secretary, 1st Alhaji Dede Jidda-Vice Chairman, 2nd Madam Esther Metu, Vice Chairman, 3rd Mr Mutiu Kasali-Vice Chairman, Ms Veronica Idaewora-Youth Organizer and Hon. Abbey to be in charge of registration.
The newly appointed officers were charged to deliver their assignments with or without supervision. They will serve in an interim capacity.
The ward Coordinators gave progress reports from their respective wards while the next meeting was scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7th of April,2021 after the Easter holiday
