CHAIRMAN TGM, TOLULOPE ADEUSI CELEBRATE HIS 40TH BIRTHDAY AND REWARDED 20 INDIGENT STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIP.
The Tolu and Tutu Adewusi Scholarship Program has awarded 20 public secondary school students with scholarships to Tertiary institutions.
The Hub Curator, Mr Tolulope Adeusi while speaking with Publisher Supreme International Magazine, Mr Friday Etim, said that everyone has a role to play in order to tackle climate change in their respective communities.
The award ceremony which took place at Protea Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos on the 18th or August 2022, had in attendance, dignitaries from various works of life.
According to the Convener of the awards and Director of TGM Education,
Mr Tolulope Babatunde Adewusi, the scholarship awards ceremony is part of his 40th birthday and also the 15th year anniversary celebrations, of TGM education. He added that, the scholarship is a part of his organisation’s corporate social responsibility in giving back to the society.
Beneficiaries of the Tolu and Tutu Adewusi Scholarship Program were picked randomly, irrespective of their background, performance and religious beliefs from 3 various schools within Nigeria; Ijebu Ode grammar school, Adeola Odutola college and Oregun high school, respectively.
Sarah Boriowo, one of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship who could barely contain her joy after receiving the scholarship award, said that, she’s very grateful for the opportunity and that the award has changed her life and mindset for good.

In his opening remarks, Adewusi stated that he considers the scholarship awardees special for being selected as beneficiaries. He further charged them to always remember their homes, hold jealously, the word of God and use the opportunity to change their narratives of their lives. He also reminded them that though challenges might arise, they will travail and not to let society dictate the way they live their lives. He encouraged them to look for the good in man and love their country Nigeria.
Another recipient of the awards, Daramola Mayowa stated that he has always looked out for such opportunities since he was from a humble home and that he is happy that such opportunities came out at the time he needed it the most.
The event themed: CREATING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR THE NIGERIAN YOUTH EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT had in attendance, the vice chancellor, University of Lagos prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, senator Kolawole Bajomo, honoorable Lukman Badejo, honorable Dare who is the vice chairman of Ijebu Ode local government. The Lagos state commissioner for education; Mrs Folashase Adefisayo was represented by Mrs Olubunmi Sosanya.
It is important to note that Tolu and Tutu Adeusi scholarship event won’t be possible without the TGM enterprise pathway whose goal is to see that Africans reach their full potential. The TGM education is an international education agency that assists students to get into foreign universities. In 2020, they emerged as the best educational consultant agency in the whole of West Africa.
