Gosheen 2022: Victory church flags off community impact programme

The Victory Christian Abuleoshun, Lagos on Saturday at Tedi Town Ojo Lagos began its annual community impact programme tagged Gosheen 2022 with theme entitled “Mandate” to alleviate people’s social challenges.

(NAN) in Lagos reports that, not less than 145 persons received free medical treatments and reading glasses from the church’s medical outreach for better health.

The programme a week-long event would begin Oct. 23 to Oct. 30 at the church’s headquarters opposite the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, with a soul revival ministrations from invited annotated men of God alongside the General Overseer (G O) Pastor Nkechi Anayo-Iloputaife the host.

According to the G O mandate is one of the flagship programme of the church to reach-out to the less privileged in the society apart from preaching the gospel.

“It is our policy and mission to take care of the people to enable them see reason to turn to God and worship Him.

The church since its inception by its late founder Pastor Hayford Anayo-Iloputaife has being giving material items such as clothing, Foods, toiletries, cash gifts to people as part of its evangelism.

“In the church tomorrow over three hundred widows will be fed and gift items and cash will be given to them to help them over come problems,” she said.

She said that the church’s runs a widow’s ministry through which the women without husbands in the city were taken care of to help them with their children school fees.

She added that, the church would within the period of the programme reach out to other sets of people in the society to remain focus in its vision as church.

Speaking at the medical outreach programme, the Coordinator of the outreach, Deaconess Priscilla-Jack Akpevwe, said the choice of Tedi for the outreach was God’s directive.

Akpevwe, frowned at the rate preventable illnesses kill people in the society tasked people to always check their health status to avoid unforeseen illnesses.(NAN)
