TOLULOPE ADEUSI CLOCKS 40; GRANTS SCHOLARSHIP TO 20 INDIGENT STUDENTS

It’s celebration unusual for the Chairman of the Tolu&Tutu Adeusi Scholarship board, Mr. Tolulope Adeusi as he clocked 40 with a fantastic decision to brighten the lives of 20 indigent students with scholarships. This move, Mr. Adeusi affirmed to friends and family, is the best way to appreciate God for life as well as to give back to the society.

Speaking further on the scholarship offer, Mr Tolulope Adeusi said: ‘The beneficiary students were selected across the school within Lagos and Ogun state respectively based on academic performance. We also considered those ones turned out of track by exhibiting negative vices either academically or characterwise. It’s the opportunity to right the wrong and change their future about life and society.’

‘On behalf of my wife, TGM family and having been through difficulties in life as well, I deem it fit to give back to the society not because I have more than enough, but to impart the society positively’, the Hub Curator, Mr Tolulope Adeusi shared with the Publisher of Supreme International Magazine, Mr Friday Etim.

Adeusi, however, tasked the beneficiary students to justify the scholarship by being studious in their studies and becoming useful to society and themselves in the future. He added that everyone has a role to play in order to tackle climate change issues in their respective communities.

The guest speaker at the event, Senator Kolawole Bajomo in his speech emphasized the importance of good and quality education as bedrock of any nation. He noted that to build a nation without malpractice, yahoo boys, terrorism social vices, education is very important. ‘To educate a child is to educate a nation. You will surely lead this country, so you must work hard to take up that leadership responsibility in the future. If you want to be a great nation, build a child with good education knowledge, with good behaviours and godly ness characters. It is only a good educational background that will give you a bright future.’

The Senator then commended the celebrant Mr. Adeusi for giving back to society with the award of educational scholarships to the less-privileged.

One of the beneficiaries, Miss Sarah Boriowo expressed her delight and thanked the Tolu&Tutu Adeusi scholarship foundation. She revealed to Supreme International Magazine that the offer will go a long way to bring about a bright future for her and the rest of the beneficiary students. She promised to keep the flag flying through hard work and academic performance.

Dignitaries present at the event include the Hon. Commissioner of Education, Lagos, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo represented by Mrs. Olubunmi Sosanya Director of Education; Hon. Jimoh A. Ibrahim; Rep Hon. Olumo; Lukman Otunba Wale Okesola; Principal, Oregun Senior High School, Mrs Mobolanle Ojolowo; and the wife of the celebrant, Mrs Adetutu Oluwabunmi. Others are Vice Principal (Academics),
