ARASE, OGUNSAN, DANBATTA TO SPEAK ON ENHANCING PEACE UNDER TINUBU’S ADMINISTRATION

The highly anticipated Security Conference organized by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) is set to hold this Thursday 21st September 2023 at the Civic Centre, Lagos.
This top event themed: ‘Uptick of Lethal Weapons as Security Threat: Arm-full, Harm-full in New Dispensation’ will bring together industry experts and thought leaders within the security space, banking industry, digital technology and telecommunications sector to discuss the strategies to defeat crimes and criminality in Nigeria. This is aimed at ensuring peace, security, law and order in the new dispensation under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Expected to speak at the event are the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr. Solomon Arase; Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and Chairman/CEO of Executive Group, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan; Executive Vice-Chairman/CEO of the National Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Umar Garba Danbatta among others.
With more than 26 Emergency Communication Centres scattered across 26 states and FCT Abuja, the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) is expected to use the opportunity to educate and enlighten Nigerians on the availability of Emergency Communication Centre (ECC) and Emergency Number 112 that can be called by Nigerians in terms of any emergency or insecurity to get succour from Emergency Response Agencies (ERA) such as ambulance service, Police, FRSC, and so on.
Further, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr. Solomon Arase who is a former Inspector-General of Police will speak among other things on how the government agency is improving service delivery in the Nigeria Police Force and how it is entrenching a good working relationship between the Police Force and the overseeing Commission.
The Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and Chairman/CEO of Executive Group, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan as a frontline champion of promotion of safety and security will speak on the impact of the funding agency, LSSTF as a model for security development, best practices, and cutting-edge security resource for Nigeria.
Other notable dignitaries billed for this year’s event are the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Egbetokun, LSSTF Board Member, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, Acting Comptroller General of Nigerian Immigration Service, Ag.
